The Decatur Police Department needs your help in solving this week’s crime of the week, which is in reference to an Burglary.
On July 5th, officers were detailed to Big Oaks Liquor, located at 3755 E. William Street, in reference to the business being burglarized. Upon arrival officers made contact with the owner who advised that sometime overnight his business had broken into. Officers determined that the suspect or suspects forced opened the front door to the business, which allowed entry to be made inside. Several items were stolen from the business, including: multiple cartons of cigarettes, electronic items, several bottles of alcohol and 2 safes from the office area. We need your help in solving this crime.
At this time it is unknown whom the suspect or suspects are that were involved in this crime.

Crime Stoppers will pay $500 or more for information that leads to an arrest on the crime of the week. Crime Stoppers will also pay cash for information leading to the arrest of any person responsible for a felony crime in Macon County.
